Jeanne Murset was born in 1949, in Davenport, Iowa. At age two, she and her parents moved to Temple City, where she was raised and attended local schools. She graduated from high school in 1968. She and her husband, John, live in Arcadia, with their five children.

Jeanne's nine-year dedication and service to the Temple City Chamber of Commerce has been a major factor in holding the organization together. During the chamber's reorganization, renovation and growth, membership has grown and prospered under her direction; membership now stands at 370 business and resident members.
